Bradley Wiggins to sound starting shot and to support son Ben

Sir Bradley Wiggins will sound the official starting shot of the centenary edition of the Lotto Zesdaagse Vlaanderen-Gent on Tuesday 15 November.

Wiggins, born in Ghent in 1980, won the Lotto Zesdaagse Vlaanderen-Gent in 2003 and 2016.

The 2012 Tour de France winner and five-time Olympic Champion will also come to ‘t Kuipke to cheer on his 17-year-old son Ben. Ben Wiggins and his compatriot Harry Codd form one of the 12 participating duos in the AVS Cup, the Toekomstzesdaagse for U23 riders that takes place each day as the preliminary programme of the Elite Men.
